For the first time ever, since the shield started in 1919, the 19th Maidenhead scout group won the competition as Troop Champions. This is also significant as it is the first time for 14 years that a scout group other than Pinkneys Green have won the competition. Pinkneys Green have had a straight 13-year win.

We’ll be skating during their public family session. The cost of an under 16 is £3.20 plus £1.60 for skate hire, and the cost for an adult is £5.30 plus £1.60 for skate hire. If we have a group of 15 or more then skate hire is free.

Pancake evening – we’ll provide the basic mixtures, but scouts to bring toppings of their choice.
