Scout Winter Sleepover
Again the scouts planned their own activity weekend. They planned everything from their food to all the activities they carried out.
The weekend started off at scouts meeting on Wednesday evening before by planning the menus, activities and routes that would be taken on Sunday. The scouts themselves arrive on Saturday lunchtime having to arrange their sleeping arrangements in the hut; erect a mess tent for cooking and preparing food. One Patrol decided they were going to cook on wood as opposed to gas.

Kenyan Scouts Expedition
You may remember that a few months ago we held a jumble sale in aid of some Scouts who Sue Hardman met in Kenya. I am pleased to say that in part thanks to our fundraising efforts, the Scouts were able to go camping. I have attached their expedition report.
Thank you very much to all those who helped make this possible, particularly Sue, Vicki and many others in the group.
