
Ten scouts went to Windsor to enjoy a week with over 5000 other scouts and guides from around the world. Arriving in the rain it looked as if we were in for a miserable time, but by mid afternoon the canvas was up, and each of the tents was rready for the week.
Once registerd they were allocated their special yellow scarves and passes, and the first food collections were made. Soon they were cooking for them selves for the first time of the week with anouther 13 meals to come!
The opening ceremony was based round Mission Impossible with the theme of “Making a difference”.
Activities were split around 10 Activity Zones from Physical Challenges to Art and Craft, Science, Water Activities, Global Development and an incident Hike around Windsor
A part from the normal things found on a normal scout camp there was an Internet Cafe, Shops, and popular with the youngsters the Ice Cream vans and some Adult rest areas. In the evenings other activities were arranged including a Talent Competition, Films and an Alternative Disco!
