19th Maidenhead Scout Group presently has 9 leaders, 9 young leaders, skills instructors & several helpers.
The group is headed up by Simon Hall our Group Scout Leader (GSL). Simon has been a part of the group since the first of his three children started about 11 years ago. Simon’s job is to assist his section leaders in fulfilling their main objectives, which is to run interesting programmes and increase the skills of all the youngsters. Simon ensures that all the leaders get all the equipment, training and support that they need. He also heads up the Parents Exec.

Everyone at 19th would be very excited if someone were to volunteer to become a leader. At present we are looking for at least two more Scout leaders, although the Cubs & Beavers would be keen to sign you up if you looked even remotely interested!!
We need more help in all sections, especially Beavers and Scouts which currently have no leaders following Mark and David’s departures. We urgently need new leaders to continue these sections! We need people who would be able to attend most weekly meetings, attend a couple of evening training sessions spread throughout the year, while being encouraging, motivating and interested in Scouting.
